Known Issues for Game Launches (November 2020)
All the way down the bottom is a known issue for Remote Play to Windows 10 that I posted about a week or so ago
Wowzers gadet I've been having a few issues but no need to cry over spilt milk. They will sort it out soon enough it is what it is. I just hope they fix black ops cold war asap cause it's a pile of hot stinking shit right now lols
so for those that got their xbox through telstra, its supposed to include game pass ultimate, am i supposed to get an email with a code to put that on for 2 years or what?
Nevermind its already linked.
Curious if anyone on here bought a Series S?
Cant see myself getting a 4K screen anytime soon so reckon I’d manage with an S. The only thing stopping me is the storage space, reckon that could be a pain in the arse.
DF have done a few comparisons of series S vs X and the most glaring things are lower resolutions, framerate AND removal of RT. It is most definitely not a forward facing console even though it feels like it will be an ideal machine. I feel like this is a console that is built with xCloud in mind.
I think the S is less capable than many will think.
this one shows a lot of this
And by the time you get the additional storage space you might as well get the X..
I'm wondering if this will work with the new controllers?
Yep... still has USB-C for charging as standard;
I'm thinking not...
it's a wireless charger with batteries that you swap out the cover as well etc..
Series X controllers are on sale in the US for $40 USD ($54 AUD), but are still $81 AUD + GST in Australia....
For those that want to do remote play to a windows 10 PC, this workaround to install the Test app works fine.
Yeah I mentioned it a while ago in the thread it has been working fine for me. Although I'm looking for a solution for it to work on my new google tv with Chrome cast so I don't have to set up my lappy in my room every time I wanna stream the series x to my 32 inch monitor in my room
I just brought a Battery charger and pack a 4 x 2700 mAh batteries, cost was $50 all up, but just swap batteries out when needed, last 2 days of hard gaming.
Picking up my series x today, I wonder if the beta program has started yet for the new models, we shall see
Yeap - Insiders is up and running on my series X
Yep, should have installed the beta firmware first, reset my settings after I just finished doing them lol. At least it was quicker to do second time around.
Aww, thats adorable - i always wondered where baby controllers came from....
Anyway, whats a console release without some hideously expensive and pointless advertising to go along with it. Oh and get some name of the moment to make it. So ladies and gentlepersons I present to you the Taika Waititi short filmvertorial "Lucid Odyssey"
I didn't think it could be THAT bad, but I got 1 minute in before deciding that "deliberately paced high-concept sci-fi ad" is maybe not a genre I need to spend any more of my life watching.
That is the stupidest advert i've seen in a long time....
