Plenty of very knowledgeable people on these forums who are willing to help mate... can't help with the $$ though... @ milkguru: will look great with a complete green theme and some more cable management! @ radeon freak: TIDY build mate, love it. Schmick as.
Very tidy! Money, well i'm in the same spot, just do what i do, and save all the little bits of spare $$ And well, There's TONNES! of knowledge here, just read lots of build logs, you will learn it, We've all got to start somewhere
Case update Just wanted to share some new additions to my setup. I recently sold my 2 275s and picked up a Zotac 570 as well as an EK fullcover waterblock. I rebuilt my loop with Primochill LRT which is much more resilient to kinking then the crap swiftech-supplied tubing. I also managed to score a hand-me-down Everest 1010w PSU off a mate who upgraded to an overkill AX1200 (He wont even overclock his GPU!). Here's some pics and a screen of the 570 stability testing with Afterburner and Kombuster. Click to view full size! Click to view full size! Click to view full size! Click to view full size! I also bought a RAT gaming mouse... Not really case cooling, but I love it so it's going in here Click to view full size!
I love this mouse, If anyone is thinking of buying it, u should lol. Look up all the youtube reviews. And thanks for commenting on my rig
As others have said money is one thing, but trust me when i say water cooling is A LOT easier than it looks.
Made this a couple of months ago. Went with a CPX Pro for a change to see what it was like. Does really well for the price. Pretty quiet, I wouldn't say totally silent but my 140mm fan is louder. Watercooling has come a very very long way since I last did it. Using heatercores from wreckers and making shrouds out of lunchboxes And no, I don't believe using clamps is necessary at all.
Hi there! I setup this one, first watercooling after one x58 asus mb dead and gtx285 dead too :/ (liquid on these parts, power on and smog...) Finally this i7 2600k@5Ghz with radeon 6950 (firmware 6970 of course) works very well. Enjoy from France. Thanks you to all for inspirate me.
Been working on this a little while, their is a 3x120mm BIX SR1 rad mounted in the front bays that you cannot see. anyway here it is all finished ready for me to move it to its resting place on my desk. I have a Coolermaster Haf 932 i am working on also, only cpu is cooled though and just waiting on a 4870 i bought from a forum member today, when it's done i'll post a pic of that as well. The cpu is a lapped 1055T@ 3.8ghz and the gpu is a GTX275.
My 800d finished for at least a while, posted a filling pic a few pages back though. using these bits: apogee XT cpu mcw80 mcw60 mcp655 pump radiical 360 rad aquacomputer 240 rad I'm not sure if I'll stick to this UV/purpleish style, but I will stick with it for a while until next refill and try something different
NTB not much of a fan of the UV stuff my self, Also, where did you mount the 240? Can't wait until i can post mine here
