how do i check if gsync is actually working and making a difference?
Got it turned on in PC settings and Monitor...
there's a g-sync indicator in the nv CP afaik.
Not sure about Acer, but Asus ROG Swifts the little LED in bottom right corner is while when the monitor is on but not running G-sync and turns solid red when the G-sync kicks in.
Download the Nvidia gsync test it's a swinging thingy and if it ain't working she be tearing. But as mentioned is software and hardware indicators too. But for me I play a game where fps dip from 120+ down to 80ish with and without gsync and the difference in smoothness without stutter is amazing.
