Just tried their pate - tastes the same as maggie beer pheasant farm (and suspect it is the same, just short-dated or something)

Also, their kettle chips are friggen awesome - not too heavy on the salt or flavour sprinkle

Quite neat stanley knife type box cutter thing for $4.99 at the moment. Comes with 5 full blades loaded into the knife, when you slide the action forward you get one blade as per normal, presumably when that one wears out the next one of the 5 is used.. also comes with another 11 replacement blades in a separate box.

Also $25 infra-red thermometer gun which I couldn't resist but haven't played with yet.

For those moments when you wonder, as we all have, how hot are my farts, really?

In hopes that you have played with it now... Is it quick and accurate?

    I picked one up too..

It seems to work well. I need to test it against out $$$ FLIR's at work

and yes, the knives are great for the $. I got one last time (a year or so ago). Even have the tightening knob at the blade tip.

was at Aldi the other day and they had this oven cleaner stuff (looks like the one in this link https://hometesterclub.com/au/en/Products/ozkleen-oven-cleaner-kit/31938)

This stuff is freaking awesome. Basically, you take out the trays and stick them in a bag (which is provided) and then you pour this liquid stuff (provided) into the bag and swirl it around and leave it overnight.

Unfortunately, the bag I got had holes in it and i had to use a garbage bag but this stuff works magic.

Won't work on farts as they're a clear gas and don't radiate infrared. They'll give you the temperature of the surface behind the fart.

Generally infrared cameras show hot as white and dark as black.
The "fart" is the darkest object in this video, but it should be a nice 37oC.
Means the video must have been taken in Death Valley...

Except the gas shouldn't be any hotter or colder than the person it is coming out of.

Sadly not the "Malaysian Curry" variant. Woolies does have it on their "on-line" shop but not "in-store". The Super IGA that will bring it in is too far away.

Sweet Baby Rays - Buffalo Wing Sauce & Glaze
Marinate wings for a day in them, and use the left over marinade as a glaze when cooking

cook for 10 mins each side on a trivet with foil under it, remove foil, glaze & turn for 5 mins each side, then eat with ranch :leet:

    holy fuck, Moser Roth chocolate!

I know it's been mentioned in the thread before, but my god...

The plain milk chocolate is almost a dead ringer for my favourite Haighs chocolate (Vanuatu single origin) which is about 8 times the price.

    Also tried:

    dark chilli
    dark sea salt
    dark mint
    dark orange & almond
    milk caramel crunch

and all are spectacular  can't beat the fact that it comes in 5x25g individually wrapped blocks within the block either...
