^ i better grab some tomorrow
Is anyone stocking up the pantry with non perishable items? Had a couple of friends spend nearly $500 at Costco on stuff like toilet paper, long life milk, pasta, cooking oil
I don't see any need to stock up. The stuff is available every week why store the stuff at home when you can just go there and get it when you need it?
Edit: My wife just said her mother in Perth asked the same question this afternoon, apparently she's heard people doing it because we are all going to be housebound and not able to shop because of Coronavirus.
Why? Because of coronavirus?
I have started buying two vegemites instead of one, not in fear of corona virus, but the pending zombie apocalypse
Is the Vegemite for you or the zombies?
Yes, but only due to possible supply issues as far as i'm aware. I saw a guy buying slabs of baked beans (along with tp, water etc), and I thought seriously?
I may actually buy an extra pack of tp, only because i've seen what's happened with p2 masks (we need them for work), and i'd rather the same not happen.
Did a shop a few days ago, got some pink lemonade. Really nice, was a combination of (iirc) lemon, apple and cranberry.
Zombies are American and can't handle Vegemite.
kids wanted pasta for dinner, quick trip to Coles and the pasta shelf was cleared out!
Welcome to the current meta, no shit tickets, no long life milk, no pasta. Time to stock up.
Baked beans is a staple for the serious prepper.
Hate to be in your bunker if you’re eating baked beans
Would you rather that or be outside with zombie apocalypse? : p
everyone knows the best place to be during a zombie apocalypse, is Bunnings. Weapons everywhere, and you get to eat sausages whenever you want!
Nah mate, plenty of onions to slip the zombies up on.
Was walking past Aldi yesterday, and my 6 year old asks me “why is every single person coming out of Aldi buying toilet paper?”
"Because son, they are all full of shit!"
I've been enjoying their kransky's and cauliflower bake recently
The kransky's are wonderful at Aldi.....it's something I always pick up when I'm there, along with frankfurters and those small rolls.
