The original Fear.
which has excellent shooting mechanics to boot and holds up nicely (the horror aspect less so but i do remember a good amount of tension).
Dear god that was a good game! I think the expansions were even spookier,
Game had great fun play, favourite / worst moment was nailing a guys face to the ladder I needed to climb but couldn't climb over his impaired corpse
Also was playing multiplayer when it glitched and had a girl cackling and screaming in the the back ground as you moved at 100th the speed then suddenly have a burst and slow down and the game wouldn't end . . . I don't think I touched it again after that . . .
Oh cool, I didn't realise that was Monolith. I always found them a really interesting studio. "Shogo" was a game full of interesting concepts, despite it's shortfalls.
It's spooky month again. Time to wind up the scary games.
Sadly Carrion isn't here until 2020. What other good scary games debuted in the last 12 months?
