    haven't really processed the photos from yesterday, but I was trying this out with COLON3LS car, first time I dont a cor shoot thing so there is room for improvement, and I even know what that improvement is, we just didnt bother to stick around to improve cause we were far from home and tired, so we left.

    First curtain is much much easier to get these results

    That way you can compose, release shutter / flash, then move the camera

    Otherwise you're swinging the camera wildly and trying to time it perfectly so that the camera is pointing at the subject (and composed nicely) at the moment your flash goes off at the end of the exposure

    During my recent stint in Newtown I snapped this, thinking it would make a nice wallpaper.

    Well I was right, but I also kinda like it a lot now, even if all it really has going for it is shallow DoF.

    It's a nice shot, only it's frustrating me that the only book cover that is visible enough to read (bottom right corner) is out of focus :(
