A new thread every week where you can post a shot for the week.

It may be your favourite for any number of reasons, ie technically good, a favourite model, or even just because it's different to what you normally shoot.

Add the story that goes with the picture if you like but it's not necessary. It's just an excuse to post a picture that you'd like to share.

Feel free to ask for a critique if you like and comment on other shots if you wish.

Last week's "Your Photo of the Week" thread is here

My area is in lockdown but Luckily I have a busy Gum in flower in my neighbours yard so I can still practice shooting.
I was exposed to the right (+1.0) for some black birds I was shooting at dawn but then messed up the settings for this Red Wattlebird (noisy image from 1/4000th and clipped highlights in feathers).
Couldn't recover from the raw image unfortunately.

Took 5 mornings to get the shot. bugger

this second image was something I hoped to achieve also, but I had the wrong camera when I last saw it occur in May (it went fully across the moon).

This time I had 5 seconds to flick to the 'correct settings' and shoot.
I blew out the plane highlights, but believe the moon is the focus so am happy with it.

I took over 200 images yesterday, so this last one was only the 3rd best!
it was a shot from my front porch (yes lucky I dont have an apartment in these times)
It just overlooks a peak with mobile tower on it, BUT with lovely sunsets every day!

I took the day off today
