A new thread every week where you can post a shot for the week.

It may be your favourite for any number of reasons, ie technically good, a favorite model, or even just because it's different to what you normally shoot.

Add the story that goes with the picture if you like but it's not necessary. It's just an excuse to post a picture that you'd like to share.

Feel free to ask for a critique if you like and comment on other shots if you wish.

Last week's "Your Photo of the Week" thread is here.

I've been looking forward to getting through to processing this one. I may have skipped a days worth of shots to get to it actually. This was taken at Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain. The echidna was too busy looking for ants that he/she didn't care that I was running around sticking a camera in its face. Which was lucky because I was using a Leica-R 60mm macro, so didn't have a whole lot of reach to play with.

I had just picked up an old Slik tripod of my grandfathers (I believe he had it in the 70s?) anyway, on the way home decided to stop at San Remo...

Things I don't like... the power pylon :)
