A new thread every week where you can post a shot for the week.

It may be your favourite for any number of reasons, ie technically good, a favorite model, or even just because it's different to what you normally shoot.

Add the story that goes with the picture if you like but it's not necessary. It's just an excuse to post a picture that you'd like to share.

Feel free to ask for a critique if you like and comment on other shots if you wish.

Last week's "Your Photo of the Week" thread is here.

Brushed off the cobwebs on the camera gear and took a lovely lady for a stroll.

My first non P&S camera - cheap refurbished Sony a3000 and learning as I go. By no means a perfect shot but definitely has something I like in it.

For anyone who hasn't heard, Google Nik Collection now free! Nice set of plugins for Lightroom/photoshop. Playing with the B/W conversion:

Had my wedding photos taken at RJ Hamer Arboretum last June, and we went back last weekend to explore the place a bit more. This fence surrounded an overgrown pumping station (I think) - I thought it was an ironic contrast in among the greenery.
