A new thread every week where you can post a shot for the week.

It may be your favourite for any number of reasons, ie technically good, a favorite model, or even just because it's different to what you normally shoot.

Add the story that goes with the picture if you like but it's not necessary. It's just an excuse to post a picture that you'd like to share.

Feel free to ask for a critique if you like and comment on other shots if you wish.

Last week's "Your Photo of the Week" thread is here.

Same shoot from a few weeks back. In hindsight I should have added a separation light.

First chance to go shooting with my new Ricoh GR. Very happy with the image quality from such a compact camera. So sharp even wide open. :D

Just had a look at the high res file on Flickr; bloody amazing IQ...

How is the AF overall and for moving objects in particular?

AF is reasonably quick in good lighting but seems a bit slower when it's dark. Accuracy seems reasonable too. I like how it can be customised to snap focus (preset focal length) for hyperfocal street shooting but can be overrided to autofocus at any time by just holding down a button. Manual focus sucks though and takes ages to change the focus.

I haven't really tested it for moving objects so far I suspect it probably won't be anywhere close the performance of a good DSLR or the newer mirrorless cameras.

The primary purpose of this little camera would be street and stills rather than action. Also nice for quick macro shots with a min focus distance of 10cm.

Straight out from the Note 4 Panorama mode.. Looks heaps better than the Sony RX1 auto-Panorama.
