    And apparently I wasn't finished....:Paranoid:.....although technically I did need an original CRT for my C64 / A500 so it's a justified purchase. :D

    Commodore 1084S-P

I'm pretty certain it just needs a replacement flyback as it exhibits the symptoms (power LED on/no display/high pitched noise). Well worth it I think at $40 with the seller being literally 10 minutes down the road. Picked it up tonight, looks good.

No I didn't hang around long enough to do so. It was an after work pick up and he only just got home so I didn't want to impose. Plus one of my little one's is sick so I didn't want to be out too long.

But yeah seems he has quite a collection from what little I saw, PS/2's, original IBM's plus some of the other stuff he has listed. In hindsight I probably should of arranged a weekend pickup so I could of had a bit more of a look but oh well.

The cooler doesn't look like much in the photo but it is quite substantial.
    Should cool very well.

I've been given a Windows 98 era Dell XPS tower. Haven't had a chance to crack it open yet, but it has a Pentium III sticker on the front

Other than the Win 98 COA on the case, it also has a Window ME UPGRADE COA :Paranoid:

You'll hate him even more when you find out he paid about $30 for it hehehehe nice score Oblivion!

Hope that Zalman does its job but generally be vigilant about cooling, heat kills those 7950s very quickly and without warning - been there, done that with an XFX :upset:

    ____________

In the US a nice slotA board. This seller is very flexible if you buy alot & I have before. That can get bundled with my stuff to AU.
Last mb like this I saw 93euro a pop & all x3 went in less than 24hrs. This will be substantially less $. Link you in a pm :Pirate:

Mate gave me 2 x SGI Octanes today and 2 x G4 Xserves (with node)

The SGI machines came from Melbourne University, one was used to control a large microscope the other unknown.
