Nah. Sounds like a job for text-to-speech. Don't place the call yourself, make an emulated caller.

If it were me I'd just wait until the website issue gets sorted - I avoid communicating with other humanoids directly these days. It's just easier.

Just grabbed a classic PSX with 2 spanking new dual shock controllers. The console is in great nick and it's chipped. Comes with a few games too.
    Lol.

    And

    Yay!!!
That makes 2 original PSX consoles I now have. :D

I finally managed to get my hands on an old-school little TV, perfect for the Master System etc - just the way I did it as a kid.

    felt like Christmas today...

looks like the retrotink parts package that went missing means the first wave of retrotink2x's don't have the heatsink added to them due to an inferior chip on board. It was a long wait but that's a plus.

    Sanwa OBSN-30's

the white ones are just happs since they are utility buttons (select/coin and P1/2 Start)

    the sticks are Sanwa JL-W.

My retrotink was sitting at work for a week so yours should be pretty close if it's from first batch order.

Same here but I read today that the second batch will be sent out early to mid November, so not much longer.

    I smell a new project cooking......because apparently I need another...:wired::lol:

IBM PCjr Motherboard <<<<--------This was the catalyst. I had already been eyeing off the other parts but the lack of an available motherboard had me sitting on the fence. When this one popped up for a really cheap price the rest was history.

The original power supply won't be needed as I brought one of these adapters below a little while ago just in case. But I will need to grab a PicoPSU at some stage.

The rest should be fairly easy to track down, keyboard (definitely not a chiclet!), floppy drive, ram expansion and possibly the original monitor but composite out will do for now. Another Christmas/New Year break project! :D

Picked up a Sega New Astro City from a seller in Bathurst, found someone who does deliveries who lives in sydney but just happened to be out at bathurst getting some repairs to his vehicle done. My wife organised everything, so pretty lucky and thankful there :)

The seller had Jomac work on the CRT in it and the picture is a LOT better than my other CRT in the Chinese copy cab sitting next to it. I really need to see if i can get someone to take a look or go to the effort of research and stuff to fix my other machine myself. It also came with sanwa sticks and buttons already in it so good bonus there. No pcb was included but hey i've got more of those than i have machines :)

Needs a bit of a clean inside the control panel, but overall it's in pretty good shape. I need to connect up stereo to my CPS2 multi which i might do tomorrow (running mono from jamma right now).

No idea if it's a MS9, will do some more assessments on it tomorrow :). It does have a stereo amp in it, from what I've read some have amps and some don't (luck of the draw) so good news for me is hooking up the L R audio from the CPS2 A board should be a piece of cake.
