I got hold of these a couple of years back but they've been packed away in one of the many "to sort" boxes that seem to stack up all too often, I think they're too cool not to share :)

There's about 20 Commodore user mags from ~1987 and 20 Amiga review mags from ~1994. Sadly there were hundreds more that were tossed out in a deceased estate.

I've still got all my old console gaming mags. Most have been scanned and archived, but check yours against places like retromags and archive.org to see if there's any not online.

I've promised myself one day I'll start a "Let's Read" YouTube channel where I slowly and painfully read through one magazine per video, talking shit about old games as I go. One day, when I have time...

Episode 1: why Streets of Rage is better than Final Fight
Episode 2: why Mario is better than Sonic
Episode 3: who are the morons who bought Street Fighter 2 on the Megadrive HA HA HA HA HA (esp those who bought the special 6 button joypads)
Episode 4: fun times passing the controller on Street Fighter 2 SNES when everyone has a different remapping because nobody likes trying to do combos on the L/R buttons
Episode 5: I can't believe that when I was 10 I was content to play the same starting 1-2 levels over and over and over again because the games were so balls hard I died within 10 minutes every time, who actually finishes old games without cheats

Yeah, I've seen similar. I wouldn't do "Retro Gamer Mag" because it's a new publication, and people should subscribe to it (seriously, if you're a regular in the retro forums, you should!).

But all my old CVG, Mean Machines and whatnot, for sure. Also all the Aussie ones that don't get a lot of love overseas.

Sadly a bunch of my original Sega Club stuff got destroyed when an air conditioning unit died and leaked water all through my collection. Quite heart breaking. :(

Isn't there a member on here who has been scanning these old mags and putting them online? Can't for the life of me remember the URL but he had a lot of Australian based computer mags.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't acknowledge the other stuff he does too. That's kinda what I want to do, but with my own spin, anecdotes, Australian focus, and general shit talking.
