Most definately! Thanks for the reminder.

I use to have a copy which if I recall correctly was bundled with the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback joystick I had back then but it seems to have gone awol. :(

All originals mate, all still have original artwork and almost all of them have all the complete original components and are “matching serial numbers” ones (Eg, PSU, chassis, cabinet, boards… etc all match)

I bought a few other cabinets over with that lot but didn’t post pictures here, the other ones were VF1, VF2, NBA Jam, and Hydro thunder. Most of these need some work done to get them running properly (mostly chassis rebuilds).

Ive got 16 cabinets now, down to 15 once the spare KI1 goes to its new home, but will likely sell off one of the Virtua fighters and a hydro thunder at some point.

Nice NBA jam, I had a dual run & gun for a while before gutting it and selling it off. Still have the boards somewhere...

Trying to get the GOG version of Rogue Squadron running on old hardware this evening with no luck. Shortly after giving up, I got a notification that I'd been offered a 30% discount on this item from my ebay watchlist. Ok, fine.

For an even less expensive option, my experience with these units from Ali Express has been good..

    upload_2021-7-17_17-2-2.png

Or you can go fancy with these slot mounted ones for twice the price..

Sadly, my SC-55 purchase is not to be.

Seller was a PITA about it, wanted more money and wanted me to pay off ebay ... so nah ....

Bummer. I can recommend the X2GS which has a 16MB Dream / Roland GS bank - I've owned both a SC-55 and SCC-1 previously and this little daughtboard sounds just as good to my ears. Much easier to deal with than an external unit too

Ugh that's a bummer. I also endorse the X2GS based on what I've heard. Although the draw of the old hardware is strong.

Now all you need is the poster. ;)

Hard to see in the photo but apparently a little rough on the edges but for $25 it's a pretty good price. Would look great framed which will help hide the rough edges.

Actually half tempted to get it myself but despite being a big LucasFilm/LucasArts fan I'm not overly a Star Wars fan so happy for someone else to grab it.

Speaking of posters just added a couple of more MicroProse posters to my collection. Looking forward to hanging these next to my Silent Service and Pirates! poster I already have...

I might have to acquire some new walls first. Anyway, those Microprose posters are superb!

Taking a bit of a punt here as it's untested/pulled from ewaste according to the seller, but considering these boards usually go for $200+ I thought it was worth a shot. Originally listed for $75 but accepted my offer of $55. Getting it shipped to my freight forwarder in the US.

The current retro prices are really making me sad. Nerds shouldn't have to pay so much money just to stuff around with temperamental obsolete computer hardware.

Anyway, I recently scored these cheap beige PC speakers in the original box and all. I don't think they've been used before. They are very clean apart from marks from the sticky tap that was holding bubble wrap around them (I cleaned that off today).
    speakers.jpg
Look at that power - 2 X 4 inch full range cones and 80 watts PMPO! 4 inch cones? Are they measuring the length? The speakers themselves are not even 3 inches wide, ha! I extemely doubtful of the 80 watt power rating, but the response claim is probably acurate - lowest frequency is 100Hz? Oh dear.

Stilll, they look kind of pretty and now I have a more or less complete beige setup. It's not at all period consistent and the monitor is an LCD, but still beige.

I bought this after I decided to pursue a black label Final Fantasy Playstation main series collection. It is complete with art cards.
It is the most expensive game I have ever bought @ $160 including postage. On the plus side I bought Anthology and VI at the same time this was on the shelves so this is the only one I've had to pay 2021 collector prices for.
