Here are some of my spoils from a very very long roadtrip throughout western nsw.

Dropped by shane41's and got a great haul; some slot 1 boards, some great ss7 boards, beautiful thermaltake, gateway and compaq machines also a voodoo chucked in for good measure.

Thats a fair price with the way things are going, when the AUD was high you could pick up V5500s for around $100, the PCI cards have become very expensive I should've bit the bullet when they around $150 now they're practical double that.

    Tt Xaser3, nice.
    I had a Xaser 2, and built a system for a mate using a Xaser 3.
The 3 had the inlet filters, so an improvement, but they weighed a ton, don't drop it on your foot.

hehe yes it was a beast.. I think I already posted my boxed one on here. I "re boxed" it after many yrs. The 3d glasses are still in there and all.

pretty sure I still have a photo of the receipt for it on my old backup drive

Scored some free stuff lately, first up this bad boy from the side of the road. Ugly as sin early 2000's case in excellent condition - answers to 'Capricorn' apparently. Inside was a working ASUS P4SGX-MX and 2.6 GHz Northwood Celeron. The HDD was neatly wrapped in duct tape and smashed to smithereens – I guess people are getting better with privacy issues.

Next up this monstrosity from my brother in law. The case will go to god but I'll keep the Athlon 64 3200 / ASUS A8V-MX combo that it came with:

And lastly a couple of gfx cards from my father in law, an ‘ATi Radeon 9800 Pro’ and a ‘Geforce 8800GT’. In need of a clean but otherwise A-OK:

Why would you want to toss those cases? They're late 90s sexy!

Just the black one, the white one (or ivory, off-white, bone) is a keeper.

I’ve been hitting up the internets pretty hard lately in my tireless search for a boxed PAS16 – no luck yet, but I did managed to pick up this stuff for cheap (except the 8800GTX, but I regret nothing). It was all NOS and sealed, until it arrived in my hot little hands - I have plans to use most of it.

Nice selection. Love the "no regrets" ethos. :D

    What's the Vivid3D? And what speed P3?

Where'd you find the boxed AMD Athlon64? I've been wanting a NOS boxed AMD processor for a while, preferably K6, but they seem impossible to find.
