    whats the direct conversion to aud? 803?

    jeez 1.38 aud to 1 usd....not good.

    I hate how wasteful humans are! i hope its at least cardboard so i can put it into my compost for the worms to sleep in.

    I wonder if the high price is also a result of the Trump tarrifs. But yeah is around $800 AUD.

    tt's? :D dunno but a good excuse to gouge. at this level of product which is hardly what i would call mainstream, they'll pay the price anyway won't they?

    add in 2 x 2080ti's at the same time. cheap as chips :lol:

    well, storage / shipping costs just skyrocketed, hence the price hike.
    still think its wrong to call it an i9 when its got piss all pci-e lanes.
    but hey, another excuse to jack the price. :p

    Matter of wait see if the prices settle after the initial launch. If you know a dude in the US ... then bingo savings for you :Pirate:

    nah no chance it will be that expensive. They cannot make it more expensive than x299 8-core CPUs.

    you get half the ram channels, 1/4 of the pci-e lanes, but we'll call it an i9 to make up for it and charge you more! muahaha $$$

    What I don't get is that stores like PCCG have a range of 2066 CPU's, but only a single X299 motherboard.
