Thinking about cancelling my pre order with PCCG and getting a tray 9900k from Overclockers UK, they have these now in stock and ready to ship? Anyone had experiences with this?

Are they selling for 620 pounds? Doesn't that convert to over 1100 AUD not including any shipping or gst if you need to pay it, on top of a 1 year warranty for tray cpu instead of 3 ?

Dunno man, id just wait if that was my 2nd option

I've done it, total including shipping is $969 AUD which I was happy to pay. I expect it here in approx 4 days. They have these in stock read to go. Also comes with a free copy of COD Black Ops 4 and some other games too which make sup for the slightly extra value.

I have just noticed they put the price up to £599.99 , I paid £499.99 a few hours ago? I just check my invoice and it defiantly says £499.99 + shipping for 9900k. $969.86 AUD inc shipping is what I have been charged

I got an email this morning from PLE saying my back ordered 9900K would arrive on the 29th, same time as my 2080Ti. Since it's improbable both will arrive on the same day, I'm skeptical

Just like phones. cpu's did remain pretty reasonable in price for quite a while, I thought.

I believe that is correct, I am more than happy with a 1 year warranty. I don't know about you, but I have never had a CPU fail, I'm sure it does happen, but it is certainly not common.

Yes me too, they are either DOA or never die unless intentionally trying to kill them

I updated Intel on the fact supplier still have no stock or ETA

    Hello Daryl,

    Greetings from Intel Customer Support!

Thank you for your response. And I do apologize for that. I’ll be coordinating this with the rest of the team and try to get any information on what happened and what we can do next. This case will still remain open while we are still working on the issue with the stock availability. Looking forward to your kind understanding.

    Thank you so much!

I don't know why your wasting your time with these bottom of the barrel contract call centre muppets.
There is nothing they can do. There is so many layers of seperatation between them and anyone that actually works at Intel let alone at the distribution level that chances are unicorns will be riding flying pigs before you get an answer.

At the end of the day the stock situation is what it it. You can either wait for local stock or try and source from overseas.
