And you just look like a numpty persisting.
The other argument is, its better than doing nothing and you never know you might get lucky and get the right person that might make a difference.
no .... no you wont
if anything you would have better luck contacting distributors here not intels customer support.
Is there anyone else who ordered 9700K from your local retailers? No update on the ETA of 9700K from PLE so far and I am quite worried
PLE told me the ETA for my 9900K would be on the 29th, which I really doubt to be accurate, so I would at least suggest that your 9700K will be equally delayed as my 9900K
I contacted Intel the first time and since then they have been keeping me in the loop and wanting updates
First review up
and they're all in
Not a huge enough performance jump over the 8700k to justify the cost.
Not at all considering the price right now but for me a soldered CPU is better than 8700K/8086K with toothpaste as I do not need to void my warranty to get better thermal.
Lol. So those temps from gigabyte are right...90c with custom loop and only 100mhz increase with insane 1.375v on HW unboxed sample. This processor is a fail already. You guys reckon the temps with warp petg tubing ?
I hope they un stim next gen. Intel def used stim to get stock perf to 5ghz.
Thermal perf is worse tho because it consumes around 300w for 5.1ghz
I just watched some reviews on the 9900K, I am so glad I did not order a 9900K the thermal is so disappointing.
GN showing 4790k in their review is nice. The diff between a 8700k and the 9900k will be under $1 a week for how long I'm probably going to keep it for.
Now we play the waiting game.
Thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
WTF at the temps...
As always, interesting stuff from Der8auer regarding 9900k thermals.
how is it a fail it smashes the failzen competition
Disappointed with the temps/overclocks, seems like no chance of a 5ghz all core matched with a D15 when its hitting 80s @ stock. Time to wait until 7nm/10nm CPUs arrive for an upgrade
No it doesnt. 0 Perf gain at 4k which is what I game at. 5-10% at 1440p. I doubt anyone buying 9900k is still gaming on 1080p..
and those 100c temps..now delidding is even harder.
pretty sure intel applied STIM to get every ounce of stock performance.
Those temps are no go for my loop. My 8700k would hit 84c in games like SWBF/ACBF. Deliedded it never goes above 64c with 500rpm fans.
