And it arrived today. MUCH brighter than the old one. Also much bluer; the old one was more greeny/aqua.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but i found this yesterday and had a read as my Z5500 control pod is dead and i have useless speakers sitting around.
I am well out of my warranty period but decided to email Logitech yesterday as a last resort because i couldn't find a replacement POD anywhere in AUS, only for $150+ on ebay USA.

So i get a reply within a couple of hours stating they cannot sell me another but may have stock left over, they will check which can take up to 3 business days i was informed and if that is the case then i will be given one FREE of charge.

+10 to Logitech, that's the kind of service that ensures repeat customers.

Wow, just read through the first half of this thread and the last page anyway.
Bloody good service from Logitech! I'm shocked.

They've just shot up in my books anyway.
Not that they have anything I'd want to buy, but if they did...

why would i ask for one if there was nothing wrong with mine, it's been kinda fucked for ages, screen and lights cut out and makes a kind of clicking\popping sound to the speakers if I move it. :)

After reading this thread, i thought i'd contact Logitech regarding my Z5500 control pod no longer lighting up and having the odd loss of signal.

Few emails back and forth and they've told me they've dispatched a new control pod!

lets see if it turns up!

Logitech are really good with warranty, they usually don't need the old product back.

Logitech, although a bit hit and miss quality wise with a lot of their gear, has amazing customer service and return policies. That's why I keep going back to them.

Cannot believe I have not seen this thread until now!

My Z5500's lights sometimes turn on and off.
The middle speaker just stopped working, the speaker is okay just the sub part.

I have had only good experience with logitech support so far.
About 8 years ago now I lost a mouse wireless receiver, called logitech and they posted one free of charge :)
