Spent a couple of weeks in Queenstown and Fox Glacier in New Zealand. I was only planning on taking 1 body and 1 lens, but ended up with 3 lenses, 5 cards, ziploc bags, remote, cir-pol, lens cloth and 055PRO tripod . Luckily I still managed to fit it all (minus the tripod) in a lowepro shoulder bag. the waterfalls shot, is that HDR as well? Any shots of #2 not taken from the car?? Awesome scene! some of the shots have been sharpened way too much for my liking.
Nah, just f32 and 1-2". Nah, not an idea place to stop. Agreed. I processed them, then the gallery software sharpens the photos again, probably should have turned that off.

Great shots, makes me miss home! (I'm a kiwi who lived in Aussie for 2 years before moving to London- haven't been home in almost 5 years!). I like #6, the water looks awesome, nice comp. #8 would be perfect if you hadn't cut off her legs ps: #4 - that's Coronet Peak you're looking at.
The interior helicopter shot is quite outstanding. Got the shutter speed right on that one. Thanks for posting.
Believe it or not, that's an accurate representation of the waters colour there. It's actually only missing a bit of her toes. She wasn't posing and didn't realise she was in the shot, I just quickly lined it up and banged it out while she was standing still. Pretty sure it's the one where she's poking her tongue out at me, too. ;p I should have realised being able to see The Remarkables from Coronet Peak that you'd be able to see Coronet Peak from The Remarkables, too. The first shot was actually taken out the side window of the chopper while we were banking or turning or whatever it's called in a helicopter. And that rain forest path actually leads to the waterfall, not the blue thing.
So that hasn't been retouched? I've lived in NZ for a number of years and never seen water like that.....that's amazing.
