I think I got food poinsoning from 2 minutes noodles at easter time.

I don't eat alot of 2 minutes noodles but was hungry and knew there were some at the back of the cupboard.

I threw them in the microwave for 2 minutes and ate them. They tasted ok but around 3 hours later I got the craps. I then started feeling like throwing up but thought it was a feeling more than actually going to happen.

My crapping got more frequent and between craps i made a quick run down the road to get some smokes. I came back feeling like I was going to throw up but still figured it was only going to be some dry heaving and alot of crapping.

I went into the bathroom and while crapping decided I might as well get some dry heaving out of the way at the same time. As soon as I opened my mouth I power spewed all over my bathroom. After i wiped my arse I had to clean my whole bathroom before the next burst came on.

At about this point I started wondering what had caused this because all I had eaten was the 2 minute noodles. I had another crap and then got the 2 minute noodle bag out of the bin and it was 3 - 5 years out of date.

After that I didn't vomit any more but spent a good 4 hours on the toilet. Towards the end I was so drained it was like I was crapping water (think of a fire hose with dirty water).

Half way through this ordeal my sister went to the doctor for something unrelated and explained to him what was going on with me. The doctor laughed and said 2 minte noodles can't give you food poisoning and said i must have gastro.

I'm sure it was food poisoning though because of the way it came on and went away again just as quickly.

Careful with the expired instant noodle. There was an incident a few years ago in Indonesia where some people died after eating expired instant noodle, but it was like a year or two expired instead of a few months. i've also noticed that some imported instant noodles sold in australia goes rancid before the expiration date, presumably due to the shipping handling.
and also ... this is probably just me, but i notice that if i stop eating instant noodles for a while, like 6 months or so, eating instant noodle would cause me upset stomach. it stops after eating instant noodle a few times in the space of a few week.
