Ive always paid over 535 for our extra hubs cept in combo form where they are cheaper.

In most ways i think it's waaay superior ! cept not being contained and stackable to save space. I'm sure peeps will come up with good designs to enclose them but in all honestly i don't see the open format a problem but a huge bonus. I only have 4 machines but we have 5 ams units due to the fact one is usually need some attention. I don't see that being a prob with the new design.

Drag/ weight isn't a prob it's a belt motor driven system , it's why Voron heads @ near half a kilo in weight can be thrown around @ crazy speeds and thanks to kinematics. Bambu lab have proven they can implement this better than most.

Jessus you would be crazy mad to get to get those tubes to tangle. Even if they did it's only side to side and they are made from PTFE :) We need more ozzy tubers with good content i say do it:thumbup:

I think i will end up being a bit of a speed demon :) compared to anything else in it's class! it's honestly an incredible little printer and an amazing price. This is the stuff we have been dreaming of for years!

The only thing i got from that interview that gave me wood was him saying we don't have to wait long for a larger bambu Lab!

Think about it.... 489 for the printer ! if you don't need larger volume this is the best small printer for a country mile. Then 260 for a colour AMS!!!! Compare that to anything you can buy right now that will reliably print colour.

We can get up to $70 for a 3 colour print.... think about it guys ! Even @ 40-50 for the cheaper printer i can near pay this off in a 2-3 days.........

Colour printing is where it is at right now and Bambu Lab is doing it better than anyone.

20°C extra hotend isn't that exciting, I like the ethernet connectivity and enclosure heating is nice, but I don't personally feel it's worth an extra $2k. I'll order my X1C soon I think.

I might see if I can convince my boss we need one at work though. We have stratasys industrial printers in our workshop but they're ABS only, and hideously expensive to operate ($400/kilo proprietary filaments etc)

A cheaper all-purpose printer might be the go! (cheaper in the sense that it's not $400k)

yeah I saw that pop up in Bambu Studio a couple of days ago, shame E is for enterprise and not extended. Does seem to be a good option but $2500 USD does seem a bit steep for a X1C with a better filter, a chamber heater and better networking.

For us it's a no brainer not too.... altho a very nice machine with the extra's i'm still yet to find a market to print ABS and Nylons for... We are nearly a year in on the X1C and it's still our best printer and totally out shines both our p1p's and p1s machines. It hasn't stopped printing in a whole year. it's printed nearly 24/7 for a near a full year it's staggering to think just how reliable this machine has been for us.
If the X1E can boast that with the extra's i think from a business pov it's a solid investment.

Man, I just searched when I saw defyants X1E comment and was extremely sad when I saw the overall printer dimensions are the same :(

Hopefully they do a large P1 soon, I dont really need the AI or touch just that sweet spot of 350mm....Huge X1 if its under 3k might be enough of a cherry tho.

It really seems like Bambu put on some features that cost basically nothing which anyone who's privacy-conscious was asking for anyway, slapped an 'Enterprise!' label on it and doubled the price because.... enterprise......

It does seem quite excessive especially since it can't really do the high temp engineering grade filaments, just help mitigating warping on PC/ABS

Bringing the Hydra discussion over here. Its great, the choice of spool size makes a huge difference, and having that little bit extra headroom makes for better compatibilty. The motors being tilted back 5deg or so means I can get more out of each roll, although the rolls still tend to jam up with about 30-50g left on them. That is whether they are plastic or cardboard with the adapter. Next up will be to print some roll weights to fit in with lead shot (or D cell batteries)

I'm about to order the P1S combo in a week or so.
Could someone tell me the extras I'll need to add to the cart to be able to do abrasive hardened steel stuff, glitter, carbon fibre and tpu etc.
I read earlier in here 0.6 nozzle is the way to go for abrasives.

Looking to get a out of the box experience for different things.

I went for the x1c so I could print abrasives without changing anything. From recollection the hardened nozzle, and extruded are the two main things you would need to upgrade on the p1s. The other thing to note is that the AMS isn’t recommended for abrasives, and tpu.

others may have more knowledge and experience than me… please feel free to correct!

I would not worry about the High Temp bed, There are cheaper option on aliexpress and unless you are printing lots of PETG the textures PEI sheet is the best option ( ABS sticks to it better than the High Temp + Glue stick )

    100000% man!

We ran a shit ton of abrasive thru one of our ams units.... just the one! and it tore thru the short feeder tube to the 4 way collector like a saw... split thru the tube and just fed into the base of the ams... kinda funny that we didn't see it comming....

Even the AMS on the X1C I assume is the same as it would be the same AMS unit.

So AMS for general stuff and extra disconnect it.

Defyant I sent you a PM.

I've had my X1C just on 12 months today. Only issue has been a noisy main board fan that was replaced early on. A few jams (my fault) None of the spares I bought have been needed.

Admittedly, I don't print a great deal (about 600+ hours so far) but very happy with reliability and performance
